The system is wrong for all childcare’s also children get sick often there and if you have too many days off you aren’t getting a break and you loose money. My son dislikes childcare (traumatised )because one of the educators is rough to children but nice to parents face (I have addressed this issue), other educators should speak up.I should of took him home once witnessing it, but I guess I was in shock. I wouldn’t take my son into daycare because there’s always one educator that is terrible, children cry and aren’t always comforted (other kids in stress makes other children stressed)and childcare is expensive. 5th childcare I’ve been and the manager at this centre is the only person who cares about children compared to other childcare centres. She genuinely cares about children so when I told her about one educator she was serious and said she’ll sort it out. Educators are all friendly and nice, Jessica at the front desk is a bit judgmental, especially if you made a honest mistake. I am autistic not neurotypical so understanding autism and having friendly open communication is important, so people can learn from each other. Autism awareness is important. As a kid I was traumatised by the amount of bullying I received from kids and educators for being autistic so being an adult now I don’t want any child to be mistreated if they don’t follow rules, don’t listen are more aggressive and not verbally expressive we should learn to understand them. If a child feels uncomfortable with something don’t force them it may lead to trauma. Children are sensitive human beings. I trust that the manager will sort out this individual educator. Positives most educators are lovely and friendly and they have a good manager, negative there needs to be more open communication, if things get difficult or they have an issue and the parent doesn’t mind helping out or picking their child up they should address any issue and work with parent. Finding out children interest, parents strategies in feeding or how they help with behaviour issues is important information. It’s hard to find a day care that you trust to not only look after your children but nurture and educate them. Small friends day care is amazing, the staff go the extra mile and the app feature is just what I need to get the photos of my babies throughout the day. Definitely helps with the mum guilt of working Yolanda Priest2024-05-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff & educators are amazing; their care and effort toward every child is so appreciated. Small Friends is more of a family than a childcare for girls. My 3 kids have been attending here for over a year and the relationships that the educators have built with my children is something they will cherish forever. I have kids in every room and therefor have got to know every educator and I couldn’t recommend this centre enough! Such a safe place for you little babies 🥰 Jaeden neko Jaeden neko2023-07-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
